Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Sizes Discussion

I am a recent convert to implants. My doctor convinced me to go for Coloplast Titan penile implant. Before surgery, my stretched flaccid length was 5.5” and I was told by the doctor that I will reach at least 5.3”. Shockingly, when I measure my dick after surgery, its only 4.4”. I know the implant is not yet fully inflated, but can there be so much difference. If it inflates, will it reach at least 5.3” or is this final?

This is not final. It will increase.

I have had a similar experience. Before surgery, I was touching the 5.7” flaccid stretch and 6.5” when fully erect. After implantation of Titan OTR, my flaccid length dropped to 4.8” and when fully erect it was 5.5”. It took nearly 10 months to reach a length of 5.7” when flaccid and 6.2” when erect. I cannot say I’m happy with my length, but the freedom from erection problems is liberating. I can fuck who I want, when I want, how I want and for how long I fucking want!

I cannot understand why do doctors suggest brands when it comes to penile implants. I can understand their suggestions when it comes to an increase in girth etc., but brands? They should allow the patients to select the devices they want. I was leaning towards AMS, but the doctor forced me to go for Coloplast Titan. There was a reduction in length, but the doctor forewarned me about this and gave me some rough estimates that proved correct.

B Brentley, the implant will increase slowly, and you will get an accurate picture of your length once the swelling subsides, and the implant starts functioning normally.

I think the probable reason for the difference in length is the body itself. AFAIK, the cavernosa length is not visible in its entirety outside the body. The length becomes visible only when the doctor cuts open your dick. Only after opening the cavernosa can they measure directions (distal, proximal, towards the glans, into the body, etc.). In my case, we had decided on a specific size before surgery, but during the surgery, the doctor took a judgment call and changed the implant size to adjust the length.

The same was informed to me after the surgery in black and white. Hats off to Dr. Eid for being very professional.

It beats me that despite advancements in technology, we are not able to take precise measurements of our penis, by using say an x-ray fluid or something like that. It can help in determining correct implant size and avoiding any unnecessary surgeries, which could result in irreversible damages.

I have a Coloplast Titan implant.

IMO, the reason for the difference in length, or success or failure of the implant is dependent on the surgery and the expertise of the doctor. Remember, you are implanting a foreign object in your body, and I do not think any surgeon will be able to accurately predict whether complications will arise or not. At best, they can make a judgment call and go ahead with the surgery.

BTW, my measurements are 6.8” erect pre-surgery and 6.2” post-surgery, erect.

I agree with the above posters. My doctor and I had decided on a 16 cm Titan implant, but when he cut open the penis, dilated, stretched, and measured the cavernosa, he ended up using the 18 cm implant. I was informed about the change, and the doctor gave me all the required documentation. I was happy with the change because it helped in optimizing my overall length. I ended up having an EL of 6.1”.

All those who are complaining about the size being less and blah...blah…blah, you must give time for the swelling to subside. You must exercise it so that the cells get energized again. You must start pumping after a reasonable time for a reasonable time to attain the desired erection length.

To get an idea of how big your dick can increase after surgery double the diameter of a single-cylinder, multiply it with 3.14. The result should then be divided by 25.4. This will help in giving you the approximate size of girth in inches.

I did not have a successful Coloplast Titan implant surgery. There was an issue with floppy head, and reconstructive surgery was also unsuccessful. I ended up removing the implant, now have complete dysfunction.

It is not uncommon. Many people end up with floppy heads as a result of improper measurement. I had a detailed talk with my urologist, and he said that experienced doctors do not rely on the stretching device. They rely on experience, and more than 95% of the time, they are correct.

FYI, I have a Coloplast Titan implant, and my pre-surgery length was 5.8” and post-surgery length is 5.6”.

Titan's bioflex material and the hydrophilic material plays very well inside the penis for most. When the procedure is performed correctly, the Titan® IPP cylinders have the capability to expand to the max size of the corpora with a max girth expansion of 21 mm of each cylinder.

I chose the Titan for that reason, women care more about girth you dummies. 9 weeks out of surgery the Titan increased my girth from a 5.2 to a 5.85.” My main GF of 10 years had trouble taking it, she would only perform if she was on top. My maid, who I have been serving for 3 years called me and said no more sex, I hurt her. If you guys want these kinds of superb results, consider the Titan. 5 stars ⭐️

I had an AMS 700 implanted about 11 years ago. I was not too concerned about the slight decrease in length because women feel pleasure from only about 2-3 inches into the vagina. One lady told me that excessive length hurts, so I was happy with what I had. I waited far too long to have the procedure.
